Power that moves your commutes
The Segway MAX G3 is not your ordinary commuter e-scooter. With a robust 2000W motor, you can experience exceptional power and acceleration wherever you ride – whether you’re navigating city streets or tackling steep inclines up to 30%.
Designed for both urban commutes and outdoor adventures, the MAX G3 provides the strength and reliability you need to go further.
Go further, charge faster
With Segway’s advanced SegRange™ technology, the MAX G3 takes you on longer rides, as its 597Wh battery delivers an impressive range of up to 80 KMS (or 65 KMS in sport mode). Need even more range? The optional 460Wh battery* extends your journey up to a whopping 135 KMS.
When it’s time to recharge, the built-in fast charger makes it quick and easy – just 3.5 hours for a full charge. Want even faster charging? Add an optional DC charger* and power up in as little as 2.5 hours with dual input charging.
*Optional battery and DC charger sold separately. The additional battery will be available in Q3 2025.
Upgraded suspension, bigger tyres, smoother rides
The MAX G2 set the standard for suspension, but the MAX G3 takes it even further. Now equipped with front and rear double hydraulic suspension, this scooter absorbs shocks effectively to deliver an ultra-smooth ride on city streets and rough roads.
Meanwhile, upgraded 11-inch self-sealing tyres provide superior traction and durability so you can confidently handle diverse terrains. The integrated jelly layer automatically seals punctures up to 4mm, which ensures you can ride worry-free.
Plus, stay in full control of your ride with the MAX G3’s upgraded double-action piston disc brakes. Featuring four brake pads – two per caliper – this system improves contact between the pads and rotor for increased braking efficiency and heat dissipation.
Unlock, track, and ride intelligently
Take full control of your MAX G3 with intelligent connectivity features. Segway Airlock provides hands-free unlocking, so your scooter is ready to ride the moment you approach.
The Segway Mobility App lets you check battery life, track your ride, update firmware, and easily customise your settings. And for extra security, activate Apple Find My to keep tabs on your scooter’s location anytime.
Safety and stability you can trust
Ride confidently knowing the Segway MAX G3 is packed with advanced safety features. The automatic 6W headlight adjusts to your surroundings, while brake lights and front & rear turn indicators keep you seen.
Its water-resistance rating has been upgraded to IPX6 (from the MAX G2’s IPX5) with an IPX7-rated battery pack, so you can expect it to deliver reliable performance even in wet conditions.
For superior control, the SegRide™ Stability Enhancement System ensures a smooth ride at high speeds, sharp turns, and slippery roads. The TCS Traction Control System prevents slipping, while a curved handlebar, steering damping, and optimized trailing distance enhance balance and maneuverability, keeping every ride stable and secure.
A smarter way to navigate
The 2.4-inch Smart TFT Display keeps you connected and informed at a glance. Get real-time riding stats like speed, battery life, and trip distance while staying focused on the road. Incoming call notifications ensure you never miss an important call, while a future navigation update will make route planning effortless.
Elevate your ride with MAX
The Segway MAX G3 takes everything great about the already excellent MAX G2 and makes it even better: more power, longer range, smoother suspension, smarter connectivity, and enhanced safety.
Whether you’re commuting or exploring, this e-scooter is built to perform comfortably and reliably in any condition.
Ride smarter, go further, and experience the best of electric mobility with the MAX G3.

This is a 5 star scooter but I’d have to rate it a 9/10. I’ve had this beast for 3 days now and have put it through its paces already. I upgraded from a NIU KQI1 Pro which is where my perspective comes from. I might qualify as Segway fanboy now. PROS: -Performance It rides like a dream. It is super zippy and gets up to speed as fast as I’d want it to. Launch/Boost mode is not even needed but I’m glad it exists. The suspension is excellent and it feels like you’re gliding across the pavement. Even on rough terrain or janky sidewalks, it performs great. The 3. 5 hour charge time is great. I don’t even think I need the additional charger. The tires feel great. In drive mode going 16 MPH I got right around 30 miles from a full charge. I weigh 215 pounds. This included lots of winding hills and even a fairly strong headwind. It maintained its speed going up all the moderately sized inclines. I’m 6′ tall and I think the handlebar height is perfect. -Excellent value I paid $855 +tax during the pre-sale. It’s worth every penny even at the higher price-point. The build quality is top notch. It is LOADED with features. My favorite is the Traction Control System (TCS) especially on gravel roads. Turn-by-turn directions of the display?! Absurd and awesome. The display is great in all conditions. Cons: -Battery capacity It could be better. If you ride this thing full-out at 28 mph you can expect to get about 14 miles of range. That’s quite a bit short of the 25 claimed by Segway. Multiple users have reported very similar results. Again, I weigh about 215 lbs and don’t ride on perfectly flat roads. I am excited to purchase the extra battery and don’t feel like I’m getting ripped off (depending on the cost). -My handlebars came a little loose after off-roading it a while. When I assembled it I made sure all the screws were very tight but I didn’t wrench them down. It could’ve just been user error but at least one other user reported the same thing on Reddit. The screws have a little bit of Loctite on them but if this happens again I’ll have to add some more. -Front fender makes a slight rubbing/creaking noise. I didn’t check every single screw out of the box, so it may be easy fix. At least one other user reported the same thing. It’s not a huge deal but is mildly annoying and slightly detracts from the ultra-premium Segway experience. -The turn signals leave a bit to be desired. They are useful at night but that’s about it. My gloves nearly cover them in a normal riding position. I’m glad they exist though. The under-glow flashes when you engage the signals but I wish it was yellow. Some people feel like the controls are little hard to use compared to the G2 but I haven’t rode one to compare it to. They seem alright to me. Overall: I am absolutely thrilled with my purchase. This was a huge upgrade for me! I’ve had 0 buyer’s remorse. I wish the back footrest was a bit more pronounced. I think this is a very fine machine and am looking forward to putting many miles on my new baby. If you can afford it, pull the trigger and buy this beast.

Amazing commuter scooter weather you’re dealing with rough, bumpy, or hilly terrain. Love the screen and Lighting effects. . also love how parts can be easily purchased and switched out. I own both the max G3 and F3 and have zero complaints them both. .

I love it and am very impressed with the engineering. Fun and easy to ride and great for the trails in Minneapolis MN. More fun than my elec bike and seems good quality for money. Im impressed with the acceleration with my 6’3″ 220lbs. and seems to fit me perfectly. No complaints and I will definitely buy another one in the future.

I have been riding the Ninebot Max for 7-8 yrs and I love it. I didn’t think anything could be better until I got a new Max G3 this year. It is so awesome. I weigh 220 lbs and 28mph is a breeze for the G3, and the ride is so smooth. If you’ve been thinking about a scooter; get one!

My Expectations were definitely exceeded! More power and stamina than I could ever use up in a day! The quality and attention to detail is something I Love in everything I buy!

I’ve had my Max G3 for 8 days now & absolutely love it. They NAILED the suspension – it rides and handles like a dream. The tech package is phenomenal. My only wish? Better range in Sport mode so will definitely be buying the optional external battery when it’s released in July. Highly recommend this scooter. I added a rear view mirror on the left handlebar.

The G3 is an awesome scooter! It’s fast, it super stable on wet roads, the screen is very cool and useful with the navigation system! I can’t wait for the extended battery that is coming out! Please Segway we want the external battery!

First, I’ve been riding electric scooters including gas as well and pocket bikes for 21 years and been fixing them before YouTube came out, This is one of the best scooter I ever owned and it feels like you’re riding a Cadillac pretty much. Dual disc brakes (not the drum brakes since I hate them so much) is a major upgrade and the suspension as well to hydraulic dual shock absorbers front and rear. Another best part is that the rear wheel is quick release the same thing like a Ford model T from the 1920s super easy to change out, I just wish the front wheel will be a quick release as well same like the GT3 so that’s why I carry a spare tire with the rim in case I get a flat normally on the back we’re the most you get flats so that’s why I’m always ready when I get stuck in this situation just like a car so even though the tire has the new type of jelly glue to seal a small puncture, but you’re still gonna get a flat no matter what, it happened to my NIU two times and the glue didn’t seal so a spare tire and tools to change it is a must to carry if you’re gonna ride longer distance even a small tire inflator. dashboard display screen it’s just like a modern car design even though I’m old-school, built with caller ID and navigation, the headlight they finally improved on that with the brightness, auto headlight and it’s also adjustable, It will be awesome if they have a high and low beam feature like the GT3, the bottom deck light is another cool feature with turning signal lights that flashes on the ground The charging time is a huge improvement as well compared to my other scooters that I have. The only thing I need now is the external battery for longer range especially I’m a type of guy that loves to ride longer distance. The turning signal sound that it makes it sounds like an old-school Cadillac including most of other old school cars that has like a slot machine sound when the key is in the ignition and also sounds like the Disney’s monorail sound as well that it makes for certain things. Gotta love it!! The only one thing that I hope they fix with the firmware update is the throttle since it’s too sensitive, even though I know how to handle it. Overall, it’s one of the best scooter I ever owned to ride to nice places!!

Just a tremendous scooter with the best engineering of any scooter manufacturer hands down

This thing rocks! I’ve had the original Max, the G2 and now the G3. The G3 was the largest upgrade and I’m really happy with my purchase. I thought I would miss the horn on this new one, but the bell is a nicer, less aggressive way of letting others on a trail know that you’re approaching. The horn is louder but it’s also a little harsh. The bell is a nice peaceful sounding reminder that you’re approaching someone. Thank you Segway!

Excellent product!!! Superb build quality!!! Top notch state of the art tech!!! This product can last forever unless you purposely damage it or end up in an accident. The only thing that could possibly go wrong is an electronic malfunction or a dead battery which are replaceable as well as the brakes and tires. Excellent product, excellent price, hats off to the segway company!!! I also own a segway GT1 and GT2 which is the Rolls Royce of scooters!!! There’s no debate, Segway is the best!!!

It’s fast af boy

Very very very powerful scooter the power delivery is instant like it has a lot of torque just slightly pressing the throttle and it’s very fun to play with and get around , it charges fast even in 30 minutes without the 3 hours
Danis –
Negative: – black resin parts smells bad – useless sleep mode – half twist throttle can be dangerous if you turn it accidentally – quiet theft alarm (max G2 laughing on this) – mechanical brakes on a scooter priced $1199 (I feel shame) – low battery capacity – brake levers has too far from handleba…
Wilmer –
Great scooter, really enjoying it. I am 235lbs and get about 15 miles of range with 1k feet of elevation gain in sport mode, going 10-20mph. It’s really quick and torquey, power drops over time as your battery goes down as does top speed.
Victor –
Amazing ride so far. Only complaint is about the battery draining so fast.
Phil –
The Max G3 is an amazing machine! Suspension is so smooth you can ride for miles without fatigue. Definitely something my 60+ year old body appreciates. Design and technology is top notch. Lots of torque to power up steep grades. A+ My one bit of feedback is that the throttle in Drive and Sport Mode is quite jerky. My guess is that this isn’t a sine wave controller? I’ve temporarily adjusted the max speed for each so I can max the throttle closer to my favorite cruising speeds. Hoping Segway engineers can apply some kind of smoothing curve in the next firmware update. For now it remains an important weak link in an otherwise flawless scooter. *****Recommended but the throttle could be a reason to wait until the firmware is optimized. **** PS-Some have complained about disappointing range but so far I’m satisfied. I have a feeling we’ll see more range added in future firmware releases. Wear a helmet…knee and elbow pads. Being safe is cool!

These are fast and seem solid. We ordered two. One works fine, The other has an issue with the motor clicking right out of the box. After some basic troubleshooting w Segway support they sent a shipping label to send it to a service center. Very happy with the one that works. Waiting to hear the outcome for the other.

Coming from a Max G2, this scooter is a nice upgrade. Pros: Speed Acceleration (at times) Hill-climbing ability Handling is great and stable Cons: Manufacturing Q/A Brakes even after bedding sound horrible. Poor quality pads? Battery life Took 3 different Max G3’s to get one that was 100%
Daniel –
The scooter is near to perfect, however I noticed that the “find my” feature only works when within Bluetooth range which would defeat the purpose if it was stolen or lost, not sure if this is normal?
Faith –
Awesome scooter. Only thing I would like to see is improved battery life in the sport mode, which is where I mostly ride.
